SoFi Stadium Guide: Parking, Metro, Bag Policy and Tips

SoFi Stadium in Inglewood is the most expensive stadium ever built and the home of both of LA’s NFL teams, the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. Opened in 2020, it sits under a giant translucent roof, has a double-sided 4K video board called the Infinity Screen hanging over the field, and holds about 70,000 people for games and up to 100,000 for major events.

SoFi has hosted Super Bowl LVI, 2026 FIFA World Cup matches and some of the biggest concerts in the world, and it will be a key venue for the 2028 Olympics. This guide covers getting there, parking, the bag policy, what is inside and tips.

  • Metro: ride the C or K Line to the LAX/Metro Transit Center station. On NFL game days, Metro runs a shuttle from the station to the stadium. Check Metro’s event page for concerts and other events. See our LA Metro guide.
  • Rideshare: drop-off is on Kareem Court and pickup is at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard. Expect long waits and surge pricing after events.
  • Bikes: bike parking is available; scooters such as Bird and Lime are not allowed in Inglewood’s stadium district.

Parking

A parking pass is required to park in SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park lots, and drivers without one are turned away. Buy passes in advance online when you buy tickets; prices vary by event and lot and are higher for big games and concerts. Stadium-run lots are cashless.

Some nearby businesses and homes sell parking on event days, often cheaper, but you may face a longer walk.

  • The Infinity Screen: a 70,000-square-foot double-sided video board, the largest ever built for a sports venue, hanging over the field.
  • The roof: a translucent ETFE canopy that covers the stadium and the plaza, with the sides open to the breeze.
  • Sunken bowl: the field sits about 100 feet below ground, so you enter at mid-level and walk down to your seats.
  • Food: a wide range of LA-style concessions, from tacos and Korean barbecue to classic stadium food. Concessions are cashless.

The stadium is part of Hollywood Park, a district with the YouTube Theater, a lake, shops and restaurants.
